Tombstone Territories RV Resort

I will apologize before hand if this is more one-sided than others.  We absolutely loved this resort.  It helped us in so many ways on our journey of RV Living.  So I will do my best in trying not to be too one-sided.  The park is located about 10 miles NW of Tombstone.  The nice thing about that is that you don't have the hustle and bustle of the tourist town.  Its also located about 20 miles away from Sierra Vista which has all your shopping needs.  They have a little over 100 sites.  All are full hook-ups; water, sewer, and electric.  The sites are spacious and very clean.  They clean and drag each site after someone leaves.  Some amenities are laundry onsite, game room, pool, and trails.

Verizon cell service was about 2 bars.  AT&T hotspot was at 1 maybe 2 bars.

Pro’s:

  • Sites are all 40x80 so there is plenty of room to spread out.

  • All sites are pull-thru so no need to back up!

  • Heated pool that is mostly indoors (i will explain that in the con’s).  They try to keep the water temp at about 84 degrees.  They also have a hot-tub!

  • Huge clubhouse that has a ping pong table, pool table, library and more.

  • Weekly activities, including a breakfast, a jam session/dance, and the occasional potluck.

  • They have an inclosed dog park area, and have poop bags located throughout the whole complex.

  • 3 different sets of walking trails are located on property.  Each at just over a mile long.

  • All sites are level and grated after each use.

  • Onsite propane refill

Con’s:

  • The pool is mostly indoors, however the top portion of the windows are actually screens.  This lets quite a bit of cold air in during those chilly days.  The pool is still usable but can be a bit chilly getting out!  But the hot-tub can help!

  • WIFI is available but not for any streaming services

  • Laundry machines while we were there were very old and in rough shape.

  • I understand a little of their thought process but children under 18 need to be supervised in the pool area.  I believe a 13 and 16 year old should be allowed to watch each-other at a pool but they could use the fitness stuff located by the pool.  Don't quite understand but not a huge issue.

We absolutely loved our stay here.  The people were all super friendly and the atmosphere of the park was just great.  They make their guests feel welcomed and wanted.  We hated leaving but look forward to going back to visit.  There is so much to do in this area that we know we will be back to finish exploring.  To bad this was one of our very first campgrounds because I think it will jade us for the rest of them!
