The Sign to "GO FOR IT"!

Updated: Oct 3, 2019

Thank you all very much for the continued support in our new journey.  It is great to see so many people checking out our website and our YouTube channel.  We do continue to plan on doing both Vlogs and Blogs however since we are both very busy we are going to being doing them in an alternating pattern.  So this week it’s a Blog and next week it will be a video. This way Michelle and I don’t strangle each other while trying to get everything else done and ready.  So once again thanks for the support and please continue to follow along with us in our journey.

This week I wanted to give you all an article that has helped us so much.  When we started to talk about a trailer versus a tiny house back in May 2018, I was at work reading up on the idea and came across this article.  To both of us, it was the sign we needed.  It gave us the faith and confidence that we were making the right choice.  I will put the link at the end of this Blog.  The article was called "How to Make a Living on the Road".

For me this was my biggest fear.  Michelle believes that things will work themselves out, but I wanted to make sure that we could survive on the road with some money coming in.  So I went and googled “how to make a living on the road”. This article was about the third one down.  What stood out to me on the search was one sentence. “We have a tendency to think that though others are capable of accomplishments, for us it just wouldn’t work.” That sentence got me 100% on board.  For so many of us we look and see what others are doing and think, oh that wouldn’t work for us.  Well actually we all can live the life’s we want.

For so many of us this is the case.  We look at what others have or have done and think I can’t do that.  I wish I could but I can’t.  I can’t because; I have kids, I have bills, I have family.  Well for me it was a sign of I need to get over the reasons why I can’t and find the reasons I can!  So I read a little farther in the article and came across this sentence.  “If you’ve read this far, chances are you’re already committed to the idea, you already really want it, and you just need to move on with the actual process.”  Right here is where I said, we can do this. Michelle was already on board and was ready to leave right now.  For me this was the YES moment.

This Blog may not contain a bunch of tips and tricks on how to move into a trailer and travel.  What I hope it does for you is tell you that you can do what you want.  Below is the link that I stated I would give you.  The majority of this is some ideas for how to make money living on the road. If you don’t read the whole thing, make sure you at least read the first couple pages.  Let it help you go for your dream.  Quit sitting back and watching others live their dream, live yours. Any comments or questions please comment below our send us an email.
